Description
Tigernuts, when prepared correctly are simply like carp candy – they absolutely love them! They offer plenty of crunch, along with natural sugars, which creates the most awesome tiger-slime once the fermentation process begins. Carp love them, anglers do to, de be sure to give these a try if your venue allows their use.
Sold in 1kg, 5kg & 12.5kg bags
To prepare, simply soak your Tigernuts in water, for 24/48hours. At this stage, you can add a little raw cane sugar, if you wish. You then boil your nuts for 20/30mins, and you can add plenty more raw cane sugar once boiling has completed. You can then leave your tigers, in an air tight bucket, for a few days, they will begin to ferment and go gloopy, creating the most epic slime – carp love this as much as the nuts themselves.
CAUTION: All dry particles and nuts will absorb water and expand once submerged. For this reason, they MUST all be prepared in the correct manner, so that they are safe for fish to consume.
You must soak all of your dry particles or nuts, in water, for a minimum of 24 hours prior to boiling them.
When you are ready to boil, bring your pan up to temperature, then boil your particles for a minimum of 20 minutes – 30 minutes.
If you are unsure of how to correctly do this, please drop us a message and we will be happy to help you out.
